Ryan loved Damien and Samuel. They will get characters and most likely will be in season 4 as well provided they do well. They will because even Chord did. Even Dijon who said 3 lines the entire season have got a bump from glee.

So lets see who has storylines this season based on announcements and tweets:

Finn and Rachel: The core will decide on their future together. This will consume the whole season for them and my guess will be in almost every episode. (and the movie)

Sue running for office and as coach

Samuel as the christian who is a foil for Blaine and Kurt. RIB has been wanting to do both since season 1 back nine. Now they can.

Brittana does it end? Or is Artie still angry that Brittany rejected him. 

Quick and the pregnancy resolution. With Shelby for 7-9 episodes and with Beth, finally Quinn and puck can deal with the pregnancy and each other before graduation. They might even give them OTP.

Mercedes and Marcus (Marcedes or Mercus) Should cover the entire season or only the football season. But it is scheduled.

And Brad mentioning that wemma had nothing blocking their way for season 3. And they would be focused on for the first 10 episodes of season 3.

Nothing blocking the way means no problems and no problems in story writing means resolution. IE no story-line. People doesn’t understand but Conflict motivates a story. And what is cut over the course of a series is what they care about the least. According to Brad, he cut Wemma scenes. Ryan approved this.

So will Shelby be cut? No because Quinn has pink hair and is rebelling. Her storyline is set. It might be small and we might not get a solo until way in (because they dont like her singing)

So no cuting quick or Finchel or Shelby. Mercus we don’t know. Its new.

Samuel’s character is tied into Klaine and Sue (who is an atheist remember?) He won’t.

So its between Damien (who is beloved by RIB even more than Sam [the character writes itself]) Mercus and Wemma.  I say in June of 2012, after the big goodbye, the wemma people will be furious at the season of Klaine and Finchel and Quick. Because there was less Emma than season 2. Prove me wrong. Please.

A New Direction S01E01 CrossRhodes

The Loft. This is where the show takes place. Coffeehouse is at the corner. The red building is the Loft. That is a real location. The theater where April has her play is the St. James theater. Its called the St. Johns in the script.
